Climate Change education program for Australian schools

What: For the first time in Australia a ground breaking Climate Change education program has been produced to provide Australian schools with a balanced presentation of information about a subject that is affecting the entire globe.
The information is provided in a fact based, unbiased approach that will allow the students to see both sides of this topical argument and make their own informed decision.
The Planetarium Education Group uses the most modern and advanced 3D immersive mobile projection and display system in Australia to bring the program to any school in a spectacularly entertaining and informative session. The program has been designed specifically for the school curriculum in NSW and uses information and visuals produced in Australia to display the impact on us locally as well as looking at the global impact. The program is suitable for ages 9 to adult.

Who: The Planetarium Education Group was the first company to introduce the Cosmodome Mobile Planetarium system to NSW schools, and only the second in Australia. We have the longest running and most experienced Cosmodome mobile planetarium operating in the Sydney and Hunter Regions and Our Cosmodome production was the first to gain Registration with the Performance for Schools Division of the Department for Education and Training in NSW.
The unique projection system was developed with our partners in Victoria and at the Swinburne University Astrophysics dept. and we use the most advanced mobile interactive technology and projection systems operating today.

Event Highlights: The Cosmodome provides a theatre setting for 360 degree immersive 3D digital images with surround sound that is totally interactive. Combining animation with real time imagery, students will see close up detail in an amazing and entertaining format.
The program consists of a combination of HD movies and clips mixed with an interactive discussion sessions with the presenter.
The presentation material has been sourced from the most prominent sources around the world and the final program has been produced in Australia for Australian Schools.
The highlight of the program is the Australian produced 3D immersive production "The Living Climate". This show will present a dramatic and different way of looking at climate and climate change. A visually spectacular story will unfold on a global scale, revealing how the climate first evolved and how it has been endlessly transformed by weather patterns, Ice Ages and the appearance of new life forms.
Recent, man-made climate change will be seen in the context of changes in climate that have occurred throughout the Earth's history and by looking closely at our planet's place in the Solar System.
